About The Role & Team
The Risk and Trading Team is responsible for all Sports Betting products, prices, risk management, Boosts, Specials, Promotions 24/7, Player Props in a fast-paced North American facing operator.You will be part of the team looking after the above duties as the global Sports calendar requires. We are currently looking for highly motivated and suitably qualified team players. This role requires a highly professional, organized, and enthusiastic individual who is data driven, is obsessed by sports and sports betting and willing to push the boundaries to continuously improve the product. This role is not for narrow risk management, this role is for taking risk management on the full 360 of the Sportsbook product, performance, promotion, presentation, and pricing. About The Role
Monitor ticker for sharp action and escalate appropriately Action Retrospective Risk reports and update CRS with clear patron notes Resolve grading/settlement, over ask, and customer support queries Support ad-hoc tasks across teams Mentor Associate Traders with clear guidance of best risk practices Manage bet limits and market restrictions by customer type or segment Analyze player-level profitability and behavior Adjust limits, voids, or restrictions based on real-time data Collaborate with Fraud and Trading on suspicious activity
About You
Sports‑obsessed with strong, well‑rounded sports betting knowledge and a genuine interest in betting and odds Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities Minimum 1+ years of experience in a trading environment (preferred, not required) Bachelor’s degree (BSc/BA) or equivalent in a relevant field such as Mathematics, Engineering, or Sciences Data‑obsessed with excellent mathematical skills Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving capability Able to multitask and perform effectively under pressure Comfortable in a fast‑paced environment and capable of making quick, informed decisions High attention to detail and commitment to precision Excellent time‑management skills Ability to learn quickly, operate independently, and collaborate within a team Quick to adopt and adapt to new technology Strong initiative and exceptional work ethic Able to work remotely Able to work regular evenings and weekends Fully flexible - work schedules will align with business needs, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
