Spray Painter
Scot JCB are looking for a skilled Spray Painter to work from our brand-new purpose-built paint shop at our Glenrothes depot. This is a workshop-based role, and we are looking for a confident and independent individual with a keen eye for detail.
Salary: Competitive base rate plus overtime and bonus

The Scot JCB Group is made up of Scot JCB, Scot Agri, and Stewart Plant Sales.
Scot JCB has been supplying and servicing JCB machinery throughout Scotland and the North of England for over 60 years. We sold our first machine in 1956 and have grown into a highly specialised machinery distribution company operating through a network of 14 depots from Huntly in the North East of Scotland to Carnforth in Lancashire. Scot JCB is the largest JCB distributor in the UK and we pride ourselves on providing our customers with world-class service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary
- Prepare construction & Agricultural machinery for repair and paintwork
- Carry out damage repairs as needed
- Apply paint products correctly and to a high standard
- Mix and match paint to achieve an accurate finish
- Maintain a clean and organised workstation
- Complete job cards, timesheets, risk assessments, and other required paperwork
- Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
- Assist with general workshop duties and support other departments when required
- Fitting decals and livery to manufacturer's specification

What We’re Looking For
- A fully qualified time-served spray painter with proven experience in a professional workshop
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Working to tight deadlines to meet customer needs
- A team player who’s also confident working independently
- Able to work safely, skilfully, and meet deadlines
- Flexible and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills
