Primary Function
Phillips is currently seeking an organised and motivated individual to fill a 6-month fixed-term Internship in the Editions department. Based in our London Headquarters at Berkeley Square, the primary focus of the internship will be to gain insight into the day-to-day operations of a successful international auction house. We welcome candidates with a specific interest in Modern and Contemporary prints and multiples. The intern will assist in carrying out a range of tasks that support the successful delivery of sales administration to help the intern gain experience that contributes to their own professional development. Phillips values a workforce with a wide variety of experiences, backgrounds and skills, so we encourage you to apply even if you do not meet all the qualifications.

Duties And Responsibilities
The Intern will have the opportunity to assist the department at every level in the following ways:
- Administration
- Research
- Essay writing
- Assisting with saleroom tasks on auction days
- Additional ad-hoc tasks and projects
Professional Skills And Experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Very high attention to detail.
- Research and writing skills.
- Ability to deal effectively and efficiently with multiple tasks while working to meet strict deadlines.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
The ideal candidate will have a passion for art with a specific interest in editions, with a History of Art or other relevant degree.

WORKING CONDITIONS
- Work is undertaken primarily within an office environment in our Berkeley Square location.
- Working hours are Monday to Friday 9:00am - 6:00pm.
Additional Information
This is a six-month internship placement and at present, there is no scope for this to develop into a permanent position. All candidates must be eligible to work in the UK as we are unable to assist with visa applications for our internship placements. Suitable candidates will be asked to submit a writing sample. Interviews will then be held in early March.
