Are you an experienced Sprinkler Design Engineer with a track record of delivering high-quality fire suppression designs?

Do you want to work on large scale, exciting projects? Then Crown House Technologies - Enterprise Solutions could be the perfect fit for you.

We have recently established a dedicated fire sprinkler division to support the in-house delivery of fire suppression systems across a range of high-profile and complex projects. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping and growing this capability within the business.

As a Sprinkler Design Engineer, you will be responsible for all fire suppression design elements, supporting the delivery of large and complex projects. You will be part of a project delivery team, based either in one of our offices or on-site. Occasional travel across the UK will be required to carry out site surveys, attend meetings, review progress, and mark up drawings.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare sprinkler system designs for a range of applications, including large and small works, in line with LPC Rules, NFPA, and FM standards Take full design responsibility throughout the project lifecycle Produce technical documentation, installation drawings, and coordinated models Complete hydraulic calculations Carry out site surveys where required Ensure designs comply with relevant standards and project specifications Specify appropriate equipment for each project Prepare and submit end-of-project documentation (e.g. O&M manuals, as-fitted drawings, certification) Attend and contribute to client review meetings Coordinate with external subcontractors as part of a multi-disciplinary design team Liaise with suppliers and key stakeholders

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Strong working knowledge of BS EN 12845 and LPS 1048 standards LPCB Basic, Intermediate, or FHC qualifications are desirable Knowledge of FM and NFPA standards would be advantageous Proven experience in technical design and the production of drawings and documentation Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Canute FHC design software Experience with HydraCAD, Autosprink, or similar design tools is advantageous
