Sprinkler Service Engineer

Service Engineer – Sprinkler Systems (Fire Protection)

Location

Ideally, you will be based in the Central Belt of Scotland.


About the Role

This is a great opportunity for an individual interested in entering or returning to the sprinkler industries as a Service Engineer.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain PPM (Preventative Maintenance Programme) and small works projects across multiple buildings
  • Service all types of valve sets, including:
    • Wet
    • Dry
    • Alternate
    • Deluge
    • Pre-Action
  • Conduct 5-point flow tests on sprinkler fire pumps
  • Perform general service checks on sprinkler systems

Requirements

Essential

  • Experience in servicing all types of valve sets: Wet, Dry, Alternate, Deluge, Pre-Action
  • Experience in carrying out 5-point flow tests on sprinkler fire pumps and general service checks
  • Plumbing / Piping Knowledge with specialised sprinkler systems fault-finding
  • Must hold a full valid UK driving licence (for a regional role)
  • Sprinkler Installation Level 2 qualified (desirable but useful)

Desirable

  • Previous experience in commercial/industrial buildings environment
  • Small works installation experience
  • Understanding and experience with electronic reporting
