Sprinkler Service Engineer
Service Engineer – Sprinkler Systems (Fire Protection)
Location
Ideally, you will be based in the Central Belt of Scotland.
About the Role
This is a great opportunity for an individual interested in entering or returning to the sprinkler industries as a Service Engineer.
Responsibilities
- Maintain PPM (Preventative Maintenance Programme) and small works projects across multiple buildings
- Service all types of valve sets, including:
- Wet
- Dry
- Alternate
- Deluge
- Pre-Action
- Conduct 5-point flow tests on sprinkler fire pumps
- Perform general service checks on sprinkler systems
Requirements
Essential
- Experience in servicing all types of valve sets: Wet, Dry, Alternate, Deluge, Pre-Action
- Experience in carrying out 5-point flow tests on sprinkler fire pumps and general service checks
- Plumbing / Piping Knowledge with specialised sprinkler systems fault-finding
- Must hold a full valid UK driving licence (for a regional role)
- Sprinkler Installation Level 2 qualified (desirable but useful)

Desirable
- Previous experience in commercial/industrial buildings environment
- Small works installation experience
- Understanding and experience with electronic reporting
