We are a Global Recruitment specialist that provides support to clients across EMEA, APAC, the US, and Canada. We have an excellent job opportunity for you.

Role Title: SQL Production Engineer

Location: Glasgow

Duration: 31/12/2026

Days on site: 2-3

Pay Rate: £241 per day all inc. (PAYE through Umbrella)

Role Description:

  • 5+ years hands on experience in production support environments with applications using Linux/Unix/Windows, Java, SQL, PL/SQL.
  • Hands on experience in service administrations and cloud formation, deployments in Cloud architecture AWS.
  • Should have worked on Scheduling and Event management tools including Autosys, Netcool.
  • Experience in GITHUB, Bitbucket or other enterprise source control tool for CI/CD.
  • Experience in managing and tracking work using management tools like SF, LCT.
  • Preferred to have understanding on ITIL concepts including Incidents, Problems, Change, Service delivery, transitions, etc.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills for backend workflow management processes, batch management and Shell scripting.
  • Understanding on Resiliency test (DR) and having exposure to resiliency workflow management tools like Cutover.
  • Candidate having worked in Observability tools like AppD, APM would be preferred.
  • Experience in ServiceNow hosted app support will be added skills
