Location: Glasgow (3 days onsite / 2 days remote) Rate: £75 Ltd per hour IR35: Outside subject to assessment Duration: 36 Months
We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor with strong experience in the procurement of infrastructure projects to lead pre-contract commercial activities, with a focus on NEC4-based forms of Contract.
The role will involve developing procurement strategies, contract management plans, and ITT processes (including supporting competitive and compliant tender submissions). You will manage the tender process end-to-end, including preparation of documentation, commercial evaluation of bids, and supplier negotiations to achieve best value outcomes.

A strong understanding of NEC4 contracts (ECC/PSC) is essential, including pricing mechanisms, risk allocation, and preparation of commercial inputs to Scope. You will provide key input into commercial strategy, risk management, and value engineering during early project stages.

Key responsibilities include:
- Cost planning, estimating, and benchmarking
- Tender preparation, evaluation, and negotiation
- Procurement strategy development
- Commercial risk identification and pricing
- Stakeholder engagement across bid, design, and delivery teams
Candidates should have proven experience in pre-contract and tendering within major infrastructure projects, with strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
MRICS and/or MCIPS preferred.
