We’re looking for a Senior Account Development Manager to join our A-team. In this role, you’ll increase market awareness, generate leads, and increase Allucent’s customer base. This is achieved by a high degree of direct contact with prospective clients including by telephone, by email and direct mail. Account Development (‘inside sales’ division) supports Allucent’s geographically aligned Business Development (BD) team members scheduling qualified meetings, securing RFPs, and reaching annual sales targets. The role As a Senior Account Development Manager, you will play a key role in increasing market awareness, generating qualified leads, and expanding Allucent’s customer base. Working closely with our Business Development team, you’ll identify new opportunities, foster new client relationships, and help position Allucent as a trusted partner to prospective sponsors in the biopharmaceutical and CRO industries. The duties include assisting in developing and implementing strategies to facilitate relationships with new clients. The Senior Account Development Manager is a member of the Senior Director, Business Development’s team. Key responsibilities: Generate and qualify new business leads and set up meetings with potential clients. Collaborate with Business Development colleagues to build and execute strategic territory plans. Research potential clients using tools such as GlobalData, Zymewire, LinkedIn Navigator, and ZoomInfo. Develop and deliver targeted outreach campaigns and messaging to prospective clients. Manage the early stages of the sales process by identifying client needs and introducing Allucent’s service offerings. Coordinate with Marketing to support conferences, events, and promotional activities. Track and report outreach activity in Salesforce, providing insights to drive improvement. Support preparation for client meetings. Contribute to continuous improvement in Business Development processes and quality systems. You are a proactive relationship builder with strong communication skills and a strategic mindset. You enjoy researching markets, identifying opportunities, and engaging prospective clients with a consultative approach. We’re looking for someone with: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, Business, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a business development and/or inside sales role within the CRO or pharmaceutical industry. Strong understanding of clinical trial processes and GxP principles. Experience using Salesforce and business intelligence tools. Excellent new business identification and prospecting skills with a consultative approach. Ability to translate guidelines, rules and regulations in clear and usable recommendations.
