Senior Account Executive – Amazon Adapt (EU Focus)

About the Role

Amazon Adapt is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our European team, with a permanent position based in London/Remote, including up to 50% travel across EU5 to support customers and drive growth.

At Amazon Ads, we deliver measurable outcomes for brand advertisers, agencies, authors, and entrepreneurs through innovative solutions like Prime Video Ads, Twitch, and Fire TV. Our flexible pricing models—including self-service, managed service, and programmatic ad buying—help businesses build brand awareness, increase sales, and engage audiences. Customer-first mentality drives everything we do.

This role sits within the Amazon Adapt team, a disruptive force in customer business strategy. Unlike traditional Amazon Ads teams, Adapt combines human expertise with AI-enhanced analytics to optimise business continuity and growth. Our agile professionals rotate across strategic assignments, addressing critical revenue opportunities while leveraging technology to enhance customer value. This hybrid model accelerates career growth through hands-on exposure to diverse functions within Amazon Ads.

Expectations: Highly agile, multifunctional role with cross-team ownership of deliverables, frequent travel to EU5 accounts, and a focus on revenue growth via strategic assignments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide seamless sales support, ensuring revenue continuity and operational excellence across Amazon Ads strategic priorities
  • Travel up to 50% of the time across EU5 to align with customer needs and delivery objectives
  • Revenue generation through direct partnerships with ad agencies and advertisers, leveraging objective-driven selling in ** Streaming TV and brand-building solutions**
  • Programmatic sales expertise, with a focus on DSP and 3P supply strategy
  • Proactive hunting—identify unmet opportunities and pair them with tailored solutions
  • Influence buying decisions to expand revenue from existing and new advertisers
  • Build credible relationships with agency and advertiser decision-makers in TV/digital ecosystems
  • Adopt an AI-first sales approach, using analytics to drive scalability, efficiency, and impact

About the Team

Amazon Adapt is a coverage programme designed to address gaps during extended leaves (parental, medical, sabbatical), unexpected account transitions, or shifting business needs. The team deploys highly skilled, agile professionals to ensure uninterrupted growth and service continuity for Amazon Ads customers.

Basic Qualifications

  • Proven written/verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Deep knowledge of digital media and broader marketing landscapes
  • Adaptability and passion for emerging technologies in advertising

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or equivalent
  • Negotiation and relationship management experience—internal/external
  • Proficiency in French/Spanish/Italian/German (business level)
  • Hands-on experience in TV/STV/Video/Digital ad sales, either in agency or client-facing roles
