Supervisor, Travel Operations - Drydock Cruise Administration Services, Inc. • Carnival Cruise Line (Philippines)
Candidates must be based in Metro Manila or nearby provinces, with reliable commute access to the office for required shifts.
Job Summary
The Supervisor, Travel Operations will act as the primary escalation point for travel-related issues, ensuring accurate and efficient air, hotel, and ground arrangements for:
- Authorized travelers: Carnival Cruise Line & All Brands Group (shipboard/shoreside personnel, contractors, concierge)
- Manual reservation handling when automation fails
- Last-minute crew movement changes with robust travel flexibility
Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating reservations online while troubleshooting delays and discrepancies.
Essential Responsibilities
- Cost & Approvals:
- Confirm reservations at lowest possible cost and obtain relevant approvals for flights/hotels/transport exceeding budget guidelines.

Reservation Validation & Correction:
- Check all mandatory reservation elements and correct discrepancies to ensure accessibility via online and system interfaces.

Technical Support:
- Troubleshoot issues within booking tools to assist team members or customers.

Vigilant Communication:
- Monitor department mailboxes for last-minute travel requests (up to 7 days before ship assignments)—dispatch to appropriate resources and ensure resolution.
- Monitor assigned queues, validate flight/hotel schedules, and immediately notify stakeholders of schedule changes, forced overnights, or deteriorated service quality.

Ticket & Payment Compliance:
- Verify and process entry/exit tickets using contractually-approved payment methods to avoid rework or disputes.

Disruption Resolution:
- Handle flight interruptions (weather, technical delays) by providing re-accommodations promptly with minimized inconvenience for travelers.

Customer Issue Management:
- Oversee the proactive and timely resolution of customer-related escalations.

Cross-Team Support:
- Handle emergency rotation duties as needed for other Travel Operations teams.
Qualifications
Experience
-
Minimum 2 years in:
- Travel agency operations, or
- Airline reservation centers (preferably with high-volume teams).

Technical Proficiency:
- Hands-on experience with a Global Distribution System (GDS), preferably Sabre.
- Strong working knowledge of domestic & international ticketing, faring, and geographical routing.
Skills
- Attention to detail with analytical and organizational capabilities.
- Professional written/verbal communication (handles escalations with tact).
- Adaptability: Must accommodate hybrid or flexible work schedules as assigned.
