Key hire within a growing Investment Technology function
Ownership of business critical applications supporting private markets investing

About Our Client

A leading investment organisation based in Abu Dhabi, undergoing significant growth across its private markets platform and technology capabilities.

Job Description

  • Own and manage the lifecycle of core investment platforms, including enhancements, integrations, and roadmap development
  • Partner with stakeholders across Investments, Finance, Fund Operations, and Investor Relations to gather and translate business requirements
  • Act as the SME for investment applications, ensuring systems effectively support the investment lifecycle
  • Lead delivery of system changes and improvements, coordinating with vendors and internal teams
  • Provide hands-on support, troubleshooting issues and ensuring operational continuity
  • Manage external vendors, ensuring delivery against SLAs and overseeing change, release, and deployment processes
  • Drive continuous improvement across applications, enhancing efficiency and reducing manual processes
  • Support the evaluation, selection, and onboarding of new applications where required
  • Ensure systems meet governance, regulatory, and data control requirements

The Successful Applicant

  • Strong experience managing or supporting enterprise applications within asset management, private equity, or investment environments
  • Solid understanding of fund operations and fund accounting, including investment lifecycle processes
  • Experience working with investment platforms such as eFront, Investran, SimCorp, or similar
  • Background combining application ownership, business analysis, and delivery/project execution
  • Hands on mindset, comfortable operating in lean teams and taking ownership across multiple areas
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work closely with business users and senior stakeholders
  • Experience managing vendors and working in outsourced delivery environments
  • Technically competent with a good understanding of system architecture, integrations, and data flows
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced, evolving environment with multiple priorities
