About the Role

🔹 Position: Senior Business Development Representative (Sr BDR) 🔹 Location: UK 🔹 Work Mode: Full-time, fully remote

Core Mission

As a Sr BDR, your mission is to propel Hack The Box’s revenue engine by identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential customers in the DACH region, with a strong focus on the German market. You will:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for prospective B2B clients
  • Conduct structured research and targeted outreach to uncover business opportunities
  • Ensure meaningful connections are made where Hack The Box can deliver tangible value

Beyond prospecting, you will:

  • Shape a healthy and scalable sales pipeline
  • Execute high-quality discovery and assess prospect needs
  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing to design impactful campaigns
  • Distribute high-potential opportunities to Account Executives, boosting efficiency, clarity, and sales success

Fellowship at Hack The Box

You'll join a diverse, international Sales Development team responsible for scaling Hack The Box’s presence across Europe. Your collaborations will include:

  • The Global Head of Business Development (direct manager)
  • Regional Account Executives
  • Revenue Leadership
  • Marketing and Revenue Operations (RevOps)

You’ll use the following technology platforms:

  • HubSpot
  • Apollo
  • Gong
  • LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Additional prospecting and sales enablement tools

Adventures Awaiting You

As a Sr BDR, you’ll ✨:

  • Become the first point of contact for new prospects
  • Develop and nurture a structured, high-quality sales pipeline
  • Conduct early-stage discovery to understand customer needs
  • Experiment, refine, and optimize outreach (email, call scripts, sequences)
  • Collaborate with Marketing on outbound initiatives
  • Champion Hack The Box as a knowledgeable and confident brand ambassador

Required Skills and Experience

To unlock this role, you must demonstrate:

  • Native or fluent German language proficiency, including:

    • Deep understanding of German business culture and professional etiquette
    • Strong contextual awareness of DACH commercial landscape characteristics
  • Commercial experience within the German market, showcasing the ability to:

    • Build enduring client relationships
    • Navigate and thrive in local business practices
  • High degree of self-motivation, curiosity, and responsiveness

  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills

  • Confidence in initiating conversations and engaging new contacts

  • Team-oriented mindset with collaborative instincts

  • Familiarity with CRM tools or sales automation platforms (helpful)

  • Interest in cybersecurity or technical learning (not mandatory)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication in both German and English:

    • Native-level German required
    • Proficient English required
