Senior Business Development Representative (BDR) – Hack The Box 🚀🔒

🎯 The Core Mission
As a Sr BDR, your mission is to fuel Hack The Box’s revenue engine by identifying, engaging, and qualifying high-quality prospects for our B2B cybersecurity solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for potential customers across the DACH region, with a focus on Germany.
- Conduct structured research and outreach to uncover new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to drive effective campaigns and ensure a healthy, predictable pipeline.
- Conduct high-quality discovery to assess prospect needs and pass well-researched leads to Account Executives.
- Continuously refine outreach strategies (email, call scripts, sequences) to improve qualification rates.
- Represent Hack The Box as a knowledgeable and confident brand ambassador, aligning with Marketing’s messaging and lead gen efforts.

💪 Critical Qualifications
- Native or fluent German (required for daily engagement with German stakeholders).
- Native-level written & verbal German communication skills (essential for successful DACH operations).
- Proven commercial experience in the German market, spanning:
- Sales, customer success, partnerships, or account management.
- Navigating German business culture, communication styles, and commercial practices.
- Proven track record of building relationships, qualifying high-value leads, and driving pipeline contribution.
- Strong high school diploma or equivalent (relevant certifications an advantage).
🔥 Essential Skills
- High self-motivation, curiosity-driven problem-solving.
- Excellent time management and organization under deadline pressure.
- Comfortable initiating cold outreach and engaging with new contacts confidently.
- Sales automation & CRM familiarity (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) is a plus.
- Interest in cybersecurity is appreciated but not mandatory.
