We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Counsel to lead our corporate and commercial transactions out of our London office. In this role you will act as a trusted legal advisor to senior leadership executing strategic deals managing complex negotiations and ensuring our growth aligns with robust risk management. You will handle a diverse portfolio of cross-border transactions and play a critical role in shaping our European commercial strategy.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the drafting, negotiation, and execution of complex commercial contracts and corporate transactions
- Advise senior executives on legal risks, deal structures, and strategic implications of potential partnerships or acquisitions
- Partner with cross-functional teams including finance, product, and operations to ensure seamless execution of transactions
- Manage outside counsel effectively, ensuring high-quality delivery within established legal budgets
- Monitor regulatory developments in the UK and Europe that impact corporate investments and commercial operations
- Streamline internal deal processes and playbooks to improve velocity while maintaining strong risk mitigation
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years of post-qualification experience spent at a top-tier law firm or in-house legal department
- Extensive track record of managing high-value corporate or commercial transactions independently
- Strong understanding of UK corporate law, commercial regulations, and cross-border data privacy considerations
- Exceptional negotiation skills with a proven ability to find creative solutions to complex legal bottlenecks
- Excellent communication skills allowing you to translate technical legal risk into clear business guidance
