Senior Design Engineer/Project Manager
Position Overview
This position involves applying engineering principles to design municipal construction projects. Your responsibilities will include managing small projects as well as large and more complex projects. Our clients are everything to us and We Service Clients Well!
Salary commensurate on experience.

Qualifications
- Bachelors of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineer licensed to work in the State of Texas.
- 5-Years of civil engineering experience in designing municipal construction projects, including roads, drainage, water, and wastewater system improvements and land development projects, including subdivisions, site work, and platting.
- Familiar with engineering principles, techniques, and procedures.
- Experience using computer-aided design techniques.
- Have a proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, clients, and public agencies.
- Possess a working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Office Suite.
- Exhibit effective communication skills, both oral and written.
- Must be reliable and dependable.

Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the technical team in producing high-quality project plans, specifications, bid documents, and cost estimates for various municipal projects.
- Develop feasible design alternatives while comparing significant parameters such as typical sections, horizontal and vertical alignments, right-of-way requirements, and cost.
- Identify and analyze the principle design features and major design alternatives that satisfy the project's purpose and need.
- Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare technical reports, engineering studies, and design documents.
- Direct production work of technicians and be responsible for daily production and creation of engineered drawings and project deliverables.
- Work with others in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment and coordinate with clients and office staff to complete projects.
