Sr Director Analyst - CFO Frontier Insights

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr Director Analyst - CFO Frontier Insights based in the United Kingdom.

Join a global research and advisory environment where you will shape the future of finance by delivering innovative insights to senior executives and business leaders. In this role, you will help CFOs navigate the impact of AI, emerging technologies, and evolving business models on finance functions worldwide. You will combine strategic finance expertise, research excellence, and thought leadership to create actionable guidance that drives meaningful business transformation. Working with a diverse network of analysts and industry experts, you will influence strategic conversations, challenge conventional thinking, and help organizations prepare for the future of finance.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop innovative, forward-looking research and insights that help CFOs transform finance functions and adapt to emerging technology trends.
  • Create compelling thought leadership content, market analysis, and actionable recommendations that address complex business challenges.
  • Conduct deep research and analysis to identify market shifts, technology impacts, and opportunities for strategic improvement.
  • Establish credibility as a trusted advisor by engaging with executives through client meetings, conferences, presentations, and advisory discussions.
  • Provide expert guidance and recommendations that help organizations make informed decisions around finance strategy, AI adoption, processes, data, and technology.
  • Develop high-value presentations and content for executive audiences, industry events, and client briefings.
  • Collaborate with research teams, business stakeholders, and sales functions to support client engagement and business objectives.
  • Contribute to research innovation, improve methodologies, and mentor junior analysts to strengthen team capabilities.
  • Represent research perspectives and methodologies effectively across diverse global audiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience; advanced degree preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience working in finance functions, with significant exposure to strategic finance, CFO advisory, or cross-functional transformation initiatives.
  • Recent experience applying AI concepts, technologies, or strategies within finance environments is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of how AI, emerging technologies, and evolving business models are reshaping finance organizations.
  • Exceptional analytical and research skills with the ability to translate complex topics into clear, actionable narratives.
  • Demonstrated executive presence and the ability to quickly establish credibility with senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills, with experience delivering insights to executive audiences.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, with deep knowledge of global market trends and competitive landscapes.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multicultural, global team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, adaptability, and comfort working in complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally up to 25% when required.
