Match Group is looking for a Senior Director of Social Media to lead and evolve Tinder’s social and integrated marketing strategy across the region. This is a high-impact role sitting at the center of the paid, owned, and earned media ecosystem, with the opportunity to shape how one of the world’s most recognizable brands shows up culturally and connects with audiences. As a key strategic leader, you’ll act as the primary liaison to US global leadership, ensuring strong alignment while also bringing a distinctly regional lens to execution and innovation. This role can be based in Dublin (preferred), London, or Paris, and offers the chance to work across a diverse, high-performing international team. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, EMEA, you’ll partner closely with Country Heads across the UK, Germany, France, Spain, and Italy, as well as regional leaders in Paid Media and Brand Partnerships. Together, you’ll drive cohesive, insight-led campaigns that elevate Tinder’s voice and impact across markets.

Key Responsibilities: Lead and define Tinder’s editorial, creative, and influencer strategy across EMEA, building a cohesive social brand that balances regional consistency with local cultural nuance Drive a strong focus on owned and earned media, shaping how Tinder shows up organically across platforms and markets Act as the primary regional point of contact for key platform partners (e.g., TikTok, Meta, Google) on editorial and content strategy Break down silos and scale best practices across markets—improving efficiency, consistency, and overall impact Ensure all campaigns, activations, and cultural moments are “social by design,” embedded within a comprehensive influencer and talent strategy (spanning music, fashion, sports, and entertainment) Unlock cross-market opportunities by scaling successful initiatives across multiple territories Position social media at the intersection of Marketing and Communications, driving cultural relevance—especially with Gen Z audiences—and ensuring Tinder is part of key conversations and trends Provide strategic leadership within a matrix organization, setting standards of excellence and guiding regional Marketing and Integrated Marcomms teams Lead innovation and experimentation across social media and integrated marketing, including new formats, platform strategies, and product-led initiatives Redefine and optimize cross-functional ways of working, including collaboration with teams such as Legal Partner closely with Integrated Marcomms leads in each country to evolve how Tinder approaches Influencers, PR, and Events across the region Drive success through growth in social channels—increasing scale, engagement, sentiment, and ultimately word-of-mouth impact to support top-of-funnel member acquisition

Skills & Experience: 7+ years of senior-level experience within an EMEA scope for a global brand, ideally in a direct-to-consumer or tech environment, with a strong track record in social media innovation and integrated marketing communications Proven ability to translate both creative vision and business objectives into impactful strategies, with clear examples of success and scalable best practices Experience in agency environments and/or major global media platforms is a plus, but not required A strategic and creative thinker who can connect big-picture vision with executional excellence An inspiring leader and collaborative team player, with the ability to influence, challenge, and align cross-functional stakeholders within a matrixed organization Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to craft clear, compelling narratives Strong experience engaging with senior executives, including delivering concise, high-impact presentations to leadership Fluent in English; additional European language skills (French, German, Italian, and/or Spanish) are a strong plus
