About the Role: AI Engagement Manager
The AI Engagement Manager combines strategic leadership and deep technical expertise to guide customers through AI-powered transformations. You won’t just oversee deployments—you’ll redefine how enterprise customers leverage Workday’s AI platform, shaping product roadmaps and customer success at scale.

What You’ll Do
Customer & Value Ownership
- Deliver end-to-end leadership for multiple medium-to-large enterprise engagements—from deployment to adoption.
- Ensure customers maximise return on Workday’s AI investments, identifying upsell opportunities and retention strategies.
- Balance timelines, cross-functional coordination, and risk mitigation—ensuring seamless, long-term adoption.
AI & Change Leadership
- Act as the customer-facing AI specialist, partnering closely with executives on AI strategy and transformation.
- Drive change initiatives, undertaking:
- Implementing behaviour change programs for sustainable AI adoption.
- Educating end users on Workday’s AI functionalities.
- Prioritising and deploying AI use cases—with a clear view of business impact.
- Mapping user pain points to AI-driven solutions, uplifting individual and team performance.
- Project manage multiple concurrent implementations, ensuring on-time and budget-aligned delivery per Statement of Work (SOW).
Stakeholder & Implementation Expertise
- Engage sales teams, gathering requirements to shape deliverables, approaches, and SOWs.
- Mentor professional services teams on modern AI-driven work methodologies.
- Assemble well-planned, resourced teams to ensure project success.
- Resolve critical risks impacting deadlines, scope, or execution.
- Present findings and outcomes at executive steering committees, driving alignment and expansion.

About You
Basic Qualifications
✔ Demonstrated experience leading medium-to-large enterprise implementations or transformation programs. ✔ 3+ years in either:
- Enterprise application implementation (Workday, Oracle, NetSuite, SAP, Cornerstone, or equivalents).
- Top-tier strategy consulting (MBB, Tier 2), or venture capital/project-based roles in scale-ups.
