Job Overview:

As a Field Application Scientist at Revvity Signals, you will be instrumental in driving sales success by closely collaborating with our sales team to navigate opportunities from initiation to close. Your responsibilities include crafting and presenting product demonstrations, overseeing proof of concept processes, and ensuring seamless handover to our professional services and customer support teams. This role also involves contributing technical insights to support product enhancement and improve customer engagement strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with representatives of the Sales organization to achieve customer engagements that drive the adoption of our solutions.
  • Conduct thorough discoveries to identify customer needs and requirements.
  • Design and execute custom/highly configured software demonstrations in support of pre-sales activities.
  • Conduct pre-sales activities such as POCs, pilots, workshops, and evaluations specific to the product area.
  • Assist with responses to RFIs/RFPs related to the product area.
  • Supplemental support of canned demonstrations as required in the territory.
  • Provide strategic insights to product management and product marketing based on customer feedback and market trends to guide product development and market positioning.

Qualifications:

  • MSc/PhD degree in Biology, Bioprocess Engineering, Process Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • 3+ years of lab experience in bioprocess development, CMC, Process Engineering, Laboratory Informatics, or manufacturing operations.
  • Familiarity with process tracking, DOE (Design of Experiments), tech transfer, and scale-up/scale-down workflows is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of bioprocess development workflows, CMC strategies, and regulatory challenges in biopharma, pharma, or adjacent industries.
  • Strong skills in communication and presentation, capable of effectively conveying a solution value.
  • Highly customer-oriented with the ability to engage with clients at all levels, conduct demonstrations and solution proof of concepts.
  • Open to travel to customer sites and conferences, with travel expectations of 30-40%.
  • Previous customer-facing experience is a plus.
