Role Summary
This role requires a ** Senior Lead Sales Engineer** to:
- Work at the intersection of technical expertise and business outcomes
- Lead complex engagements in the HI-Tech sector
- Ensure technical wins while driving customer alignment
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting technical discovery to qualify opportunities
- Delivering end-to-end solution design and high-level strategic discussions
- Collaborating with customers on network architecture, application design, and infrastructure optimization
- Whiteboarding solutions for performance, resilience, scalability, and security
- Leading technical consensus within the sales process
- Partnering with cross-functional teams, including Capacity, Customer Success, and Operations

Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end technical sales across high-value HI-Tech engagements, owning the customer relationship as a trusted technical advisor.
- Weave business priorities with technical requirements to design solution-oriented roadmaps for modernized infrastructure.
- Master architecture-level discussions, covering:
- Network design
- Interconnection strategy
- Application environments
- Champion customer-centric collaboration:
- Host meetings
- Facilitate workshops
- Conduct whiteboarding sessions
- Present executive-level insights
- Support competitive challenges:
- RFIs, RFPs
- Technical documentation
- Customer deliverables
- Influence internal teams (sales, operations, etc.) to execute strategic opportunities.
- Mentor junior sales engineers and shape solutions engineering standards.
What You’ll Bring To The Table
Experience
- 10+ years in technical sales, pre-sales, or solutions engineering, ideally in:
- Data center environments
- Cloud technologies
- Networking sectors
- Telecommunications
Technical Expertise
- Deep understanding of:
- Data center infrastructure
- Interconnection strategies
- Network modernization
- Hybrid cloud integration
- Proven ability to identify and articulate modernization improvements in customer environments.
Soft Skills
- Consultative communication: Expertise in discussing network and application architecture confidently.
- High-level stakeholder influence: Drive technical and business outcomes for complex accounts.
- Independent problem-solving: Balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
