Description

Amazon is looking for a Senior Manager-Product Management, AI Shopping, International to lead a team of Product Managers and Editors who help train our AI models to deliver helpful, delightful conversational experiences for customers. This is an opportunity to gain valuable experience in the growing field of artificial intelligence and its application in diverse business settings.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Manage a multi-lingual team of Product Managers and Editors using a variety of AI training and tuning techniques to improve the fluency of our AI models.
  • Advocate for and support product parity efforts across international marketplaces by evaluating features pre-release and producing locally relevant insights to guide refinements.
  • Guide efforts to automate evaluations, tune prompts, and localize experiences, enabling our AI Shopping initiatives to scale internationally.
  • Uphold and contribute to quality, style, and tone guidelines, while using customer feedback to continually improve Amazon’s ability to be helpful to customers.
  • Cross-functional partnership will be key, as this team works across Product, Science, and Design teams to evaluate CX metrics, develop scalable reporting systems, and ensure continual model improvements.

About The Team

  • High-performing team behind Amazon’s generative AI-powered shopping assistant.
  • Make it easy for customers to find and discover the best products to meet their unique needs by helping with product research, providing comparisons and recommendations, answering specific product questions, and more.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
  • Experience with end-to-end product delivery.
  • Experience directly managing teams of 6 or more.
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
  • Experience with product cycles of 6+ months.
  • Experience as a product manager or owner.
  • Bi-lingual, with native proficiency in English and at least one other language.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience engaging and influencing senior executives.
  • Experience working with engineering and product teams to define a product and bring it to market.
