Role: Manufacturing & Quality Control Technician
Work Schedule
- Standard (Monday to Friday)
Environmental Conditions
- Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (e.g., safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, earplugs, etc.).

Responsibilities
Manufacturing & Packaging
- Manufacture closed products in a clean environment while wearing appropriate PPE.
- Oversee the assembly of packaging components (boxes, inserts, labels, and other materials).
- Ensure secure, standards-compliant packaging to prevent damage during transit.
Labelling
- Verify correct label printing using in-process testing.
- Apply accurate labelling for identification, inventory management, and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure all labels include required safety and regulatory information.

Quality Control
- Implement quality control measures to verify packaging standards.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify defects, errors, or inconsistencies.
- Take corrective actions as needed to maintain compliance.
Laboratory Maintenance & Calibration
- Clean and sanitise laboratory equipment.
- Calibrate basic laboratory instruments.
- Maintain calibration schedules for designated equipment.
- Ensure laboratory housekeeping standards and consumable supplies are up to date.
Training & Safety Compliance
- May be required to train others to the appropriate level in specific operations.
- Support and comply with the Company safety program and hazardous waste management.
- Ensure clean, safe, and orderly work areas.
- Follow special safety precautions in manufacturing/laboratory areas.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant life sciences discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in a production environment preferred (but not essential).
- Proficiency in Microsoft software applications.
- Ability to:
- Follow written and verbal instructions.
- Meet performance targets.
- Complete necessary documentation.
- Strong manual dexterity and teamwork skills.
- Experience in clean production environments preferred.
- Flexible approach—willing to adapt to short-notice duty changes.
- Operational computer terminal use throughout the day.
- Open to continuous improvement opportunities.
