Senior Patient Care Technician – Community Health Network

Make a Difference
The Senior Patient Care Technician works under the direction of a Registered Nurse and performs key patient care tasks:
- Direct patient care: Bathing, assisting with elimination, bed making, and monitoring vital signs.
- Safe patient transportation: Transporting patients and related materials in a professional and timely manner.
- Patient orientation: Welcoming and orienting patients to the care area.
- Meal service & feeding assistance: Supporting patients with meal preparation and feeding.
- Additional care tasks: Providing selected care as required by medical standards.
- Collaboration: Working effectively with team members to fulfill all assigned tasks efficiently.

Requirements
Education & Certification

High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is a mandatory requirement.

Computer literacy: Must be equipped to use technology for work-related documentation.

Clinical experience (alternatively):
- Three (3) months of clinical experience OR
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license OR
- Currently enrolled in nursing school.

One week of full-time onboarding/training available during employment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability and strength to grasp, lift, push, pull, and transport patients or materials safely in a medical environment.
