Payroll Transition Specialist – EMEA

Location - Basildon, UK OR Dublin, Ireland

Long term contract opportunity initially till March 2027 with potential extension

Our client, a leading FinTech organization, is looking for an experienced Payroll Transition Specialist to support multiple payroll transformation projects across the EMEA region.

This is a hands-on delivery role, ideal for someone who has successfully led payroll transitions, payroll implementations, or vendor migrations and enjoys working closely with payroll teams to deliver successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end payroll transition activities across Belgium, Germany, and the Netherlands.
  • Support the migration of Germany's payroll from ADP Streamline to ADP Celergo.
  • Develop payroll test strategies, test scripts, UAT, parallel runs, and reconciliation activities.
  • Work closely with HR, HRIS, Finance, external payroll vendors, and local payroll partners.
  • Ensure payroll controls, compliance, and audit requirements are met throughout the transition.

Essential Experience:

  • Proven experience delivering payroll transitions or payroll implementations.
  • Strong hands-on experience with ADP Celergo Payroll.
  • Excellent operational payroll knowledge of Belgium, Germany, and the Netherlands. (essential).
  • Strong understanding of gross-to-net processing, payroll controls, statutory reporting, payroll testing, UAT, parallel payroll runs, data validation, and vendor migrations.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced transformation environment.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working with outsourced payroll providers or Social Secretaries.
  • Exposure to EMEA payroll governance.
  • German or Dutch language skills would be an advantage.
