Who we are looking for:

ACV is looking for an experienced Senior level People/HR leader to join our People Operations Team primarily supporting our Product and Technology Teams. Our ideal candidate has a passion for all things People, has strong management and leadership skills, takes a solution based approach and has experience and a past history of success navigating complex situations. To be successful in this role, you will need to be a subject matter expert and have the ability to be a collaborative influencer across our organization. What you will be doing:

  • Partner closely with leaders and Teammates to drive excellent work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Lead/work with the entire People team and business teams on special projects as needed to support ACV’s organizational culture and to ensure an exceptional Teammate experience.
  • Be a steward of our Teammate experience and role model for ACV’s culture.
  • Be a champion for the Teammate Experience in the creation, support and implementation of people initiatives such as total rewards, learning and development, company policies, etc.
  • Partner with, and coach business leaders in all areas of performance management.
  • Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations and handle complex Teammate relations issues as necessary.
  • Collaborate with others in support and execution of ACV’s safety program, initiatives and practices which are focused on incident prevention and the safety of all Teammates.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and Teammates to drive a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion.
  • Manage workers' compensation claims including reporting, management and tracking to ensure a best in class process across the organization.
  • Ensure Company policies are administered fairly and consistently across the organization.
  • Understand the staffing needs and partner with Talent Acquisition Team to develop and execute effective talent attraction strategies.
  • Identify, develop and execute best practices, policies and procedures that are aligned to supporting the needs of the business and improving Teammate experience.
  • Identify and provide solutions to address areas of opportunity in all areas of People Operations.
  • Work with leaders and other members of the People Team to execute effective performance management and career development initiatives (onboarding plans, performance feedback, succession planning, Teammate development/coaching, career pathing.)
  • Work with the Total Rewards team regarding all areas of Total Rewards (Benefits, Compensation, Equity, Wellness etc.).
  • Partner with functional/area leaders to obtain and review regular reporting on achievements to KPIs and data analysis on the state and health of their teams.
  • Consult and advise leaders on the organizational design of their teams and departments.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Responsible for contributing to the development of others within the People Team - including inside and outside of their immediate work Team.
  • Involved with and/or lead cross-functional projects and initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned

  • A People First approach and a commitment to excellence
  • BS/BA in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • A passion for the mission, vision and values of ACV
  • 8+ years of experience in a People/Human Resources and/or related profession
  • Experience working with a dispersed work group across multiple locations and geographic areas
  • Thorough knowledge in the areas of employee relations, compensation, compliance, organizational design, benefits and total rewards
  • Technically proficient and be able to use GSuite, Microsoft Window products, and have prior working experience using HRIS System(s)
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills, attention to detail and follow up skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work across multiple locations
  • Strong business and People/HR acumen, including strong problem solving skills, critical thinking, analysis and being agile while leading through change
  • Excellent project management skills, and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience in full cycle recruitment process, total rewards programs, employee relations and compliance
  • Strong coaching and consulting skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and have strong time management skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • PHR and/or SHRM-CP Certification preferred
