Position Summary
The Senior Operations Planner is responsible for steering the heart of the company within the International arm of the Global Auto Care business. You will be engaging/ collaborating and challenging the internal/external partners/sources/vendors along with analysing, driving, and providing decision-making support in areas of reporting, analytics and transactions.

Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
You will be responsible for analyzing back orders, current orders, and upcoming orders to guide the operations planner for the scheduling of production. The role will also encompass responsibility for the following:
Retaining the correct levels of raw materials Providing monthly analysis by resource and lines of the production required Providing and trending data for the full financial year and flatlining production Providing input as a key contributor from a planning perspective on projects Leading a project from concept to production on time, and in full Ensuring all relevant information is escalated to site managers as applicable Accountability for steering and bringing change concepts to the team Accountability for delivery of the production plan whilst providing guidance to the operations planner on monthly targets and KPI’s Communicating efficiently and effectively to internal/external stakeholders Analyzing and reporting on the safety and minimum stock levels required in line with the current plant budget Communicate efficiently and effectively on the deliverance of shortages and deliverables to customer. Responsible for plant CFR and plant communication to external stakeholders. Monitoring the progress of manufacturing to ensuring the adherence of the schedule, whilst escalating issues to the site managers when necessary Collaborate with New Product Development to plan in trials and information to allow line availability. Drive and participate in Lean manufacturing activities Collaborate and engage in reasonable activity to support the growth and profitability of the business whilst aligning to the wider goals and objectives The above is a non-exhaustive summary of responsibilities that the Senior Operations Planner will be expected to fulfil.

The Following Skills And Experience Are Desirable
Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and make recommendations Prior operational experience within manufacturing with internal and external stakeholders Good overall understanding of supply chain process flows Excel skills with ability to analyze data and make recommendations Ability to multitask and successfully develop and execute plans in a dynamic environment Interpersonal & communication skills with the ability to work across all levels of the organization Good knowledge of production processes and the inter connections between departments Good organisation and communication skills Confident in presenting reports/ data to site managers.
