About the Role
Datasite is hiring a hands-on, strategic communications leader to help shape and amplify its bold vision in AI-powered M&A and private markets. Based on private equity-backed, high-growth momentum, Datasite is architecting a new category: a secure, AI-driven ecosystem for the full lifecycle of dealmaking—from sourcing to execution. Through acquisitions such as Grata (private market data), Blueflame AI (agentic AI), and Sherpany (board reporting), the company is redefining capital transactions globally.
This is more than a support role—it’s about building Datasite’s narrative, connecting powerhouse brands into a unified story, and reinforcing executive thought leadership in AI, fintech, and private capital. You’ll work closely with leadership to ensure Datasite’s vision resonates with investors, enterprise clients, and deal influencers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Brand Leadership
- Unify corporate narrative: Craft and articulate the collaborative brand story between Datasite, Grata, Blueflame AI, and Sherpany, highlighting their differentiated value within a category-defining AI-powered deal ecosystem
- Define Datasite as a category leader: Position the company as the trusted, end-to-end provider in AI-powered M&A infrastructure, cutting through the noise in a competitive market
- Drive cross-selling initiatives: Amplify Datasite’s unified value proposition to deal teams, investors, and enterprise decision-makers, accelerating adoption of the full ecosystem
Media Relations & Executive Amplification
- Drive media visibility: Secure premium coverage in business, AI, fintech, private markets, and technology press, and elevate executive thought leadership
- Proactive & reactive storytelling: Develop compelling pitches, respond to breaking news, and continuously inject Datasite’s perspective into critical industry conversations
- Build relationships with key influencers: Cultivate long-term partnerships with analysts, reporters, and industry analysts to shape the dealmaking narrative
- Support senior leadership: Prepare executives for media engagements with tailored messaging, interview coordination, and post-event analysis

Content & Campaign Execution
- Develop high-impact content: Produce press releases, media kits, thought leadership articles, and executive commentary that resonate with stakeholders
- Execute strategic campaigns: Lead targeted media strategy, conference presentations, and PR initiatives with measurable outcomes
- Ensure consistency & agility: Balance global storytelling with local execution across markets (prioritising UK/Europe)
- Optimise ROI: Track performance against KPIs (coverage volume, sentiment, share of voice) and feed learnings into real-time strategy adjustments
Stakeholder & Agency Coordination
- Act as cross-functional VCPO: Bridge gaps between corporate communications and business unit brands, ensuring alignment on messaging and campaigns
- Manage multi-brand workflows: Oversee deliverables for Datasite, Grata, Blueflame AI, and Sherpany while maintaining brand cohesion
- Leverage agency partners: Direct external teams to align with strategic goals while upholding historical campaign standards
Analysis & Continuous Improvement
- Data-driven monitoring: Provide quarterly reporting on campaign performance, media adoption, and market sentiment
- Identify emerging opportunities: Proactively spot story angles, regulatory pivots, and competitive shifts, translating them into actionable insights

Required Technical & Sector Expertise
- Undergraduate degree in communications, media studies, public relations, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in:
- Public relations, corporate communications, or agency environments
- Tech or financial services media relations (AI, M&A, private markets, or fintech preferred)
- Content strategy (press releases, executive messaging, thought leadership initiatives)
- Proven track record of:
- Building and maintaining high-quality relationships with business/tech writers
- Securing coverage in top-tier outlets (Bloomberg, FT, Reuters, S&P Global, TechCrunch, etc.)
- Supporting senior leadership in media engagements
Sought-After Competencies
- AI literacy: Proficient in leveraging AI tools to boost productivity (content optimisation, media research, creative support)
- Media fluency: Deep familiarity with UK/European business and tech ecosystems
- Analytical rigor: Comfort with measurement KPIs, sentiment analysis, and performance dashboards
