Job Description: Global Communications Leader – Datasite


About the Role

Datasite is hiring a hands-on communications leader to help shape and amplify one of the most compelling stories in AI and fintech. Backed by private equity and scaling rapidly, Datasite is redefining end-to-end, AI-powered M&A—spanning from deal sourcing and origination through diligence, execution, and post-close.

Through acquisitions like Grata (private market data), Blueflame AI (agentic AI), and Sherpany (board reporting), Datasite is building a connected ecosystem for capital transactions. This role is for someone who doesn’t just support the narrative but shapes it, partnering with senior executives to unify powerful brands into a category-defining story.

Key Responsibilities

Storytelling & Media Engagement

  • Lead high-impact media relationships across Business, Finance, Tech, AI, and Private Markets
  • Proactively pitch stories to preferred journalists and execute reactive crisis/commentary opportunities
  • Act as a strategic connector—translating business goals into compelling narratives for all stakeholders

Content & Campaigns

  • Draft/refine press releases, media pitches, and thought leadership content (with precision and urgency)
  • Build ** thángtl thought leadership programming** (bylines, speaking opportunities, awards)
  • Identify timely trends and translate complex technical shifts into media-smart narratives
  • Develop cross-brand storytelling that positions Datasite’s one-stop-shop ecosystem

Global Visibility

  • Adapt global messaging for regional markets while maintaining strategic consistency
  • Orchestrate multi-region campaigns to match audience-relevance to corporate goals
  • Collaborate with agency partners to execution and alignment
  • Translate senior leadership voices into a differentiating intellectual framework

Performance & Metrics

  • Track KPIs: Coverage volume, share of voice, sentiment analysis
  • Contribute to periodic reporting (monthly/quarterly briefs and presentations)
  • Leverage data-driven insights to optimize strategy

Key Indicators of Fit

  • Experience partnering with C-suite & entrepreneurial teams during transformative moments
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational immediacy

Experience & Skills

Required

🍎 Minimum 8 years in public relations, corporate communications, or agency 🍎 Undergraduate degree in communications (or related field) 🎤 Proven track record building journalist relationships + securing placement in B2B, tech, finance, and AI spheres ✏️ Exceptional writing across press materials, executive commentaries, and thought leadership 🔹 Infra-red domain expertise: B2B technology, financial services, AI, or M&A ecosystems

Bonus

♿ AI fluency: Experience using AI tools to improve productivity & workflows 🗺️ Proven records in DACH/Europe AND US markets (Media relations specific to London/EU preferred) 🤝 Direct experience with multi-brand or factored ecosystem communications


Work Arrangements

  • Remote/wide options preferred, but in-office expectation: minimum 2 days/week at London offices (hybrid)
  • Additional office time may apply based on team dynamics & business needs
