Sr. Privacy Industry Specialist, Operations Trust

Operations Trust Team Leader (Privacy – Operations)

At Amazon, we strive to be Earth’s most customer-centric company. We work towards a single goal: to ensure the best experience for our customers. To do that, we empower our people to think like owners and solve problems the first time. As a team, we are focused on continuously improving and setting new standards in global operations. You have to thrive in an environment that is constantly changing and growing. In the words of Jeff Bezos, “Many of the problems we face have no textbook solution, and so we happily invent new ones.” If you are excited about being an innovative leader and advocate for privacy solutions, then Amazon may be the place for you.

The purpose of the Operations Trust Team is to manage privacy for the Operations (Ops) organisation. Our focus is to ensure individuals are never surprised by what data we collect, process, and share, and that we delight regulators with the quality, transparency, and accuracy of our privacy documentation. Everything we do is built on this mission. This leader will act as a privacy subject matter expert and collaborate with business, legal, and technology stakeholders to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and transparency of privacy documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, draft, and maintain Records of processing (RoPs/ROPAs) and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs)
  • Assist in managing the privacy documentation program at scale
  • Conduct AI risk classifications
  • Complete application-based access and deletion assessments and determinations
  • Automate and operationalize privacy processes
  • Analyze and develop metrics to measure and improve documentation program effectiveness
  • Apply global privacy regulatory and operational expertise to embed a consistent customer experience across Operations
  • Work with internal stakeholders (Ops & Legal) to ensure privacy considerations are part of all projects and decisions
  • Maintain a strong understanding of privacy regulatory and industry developments
  • Perform operational deep dives on business processes and systems, identifying privacy risks and mitigation measures
  • Prepare supporting internal documentation including executive reports, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and FAQs
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with urgency

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
