Sr Product Designer
Senior Product Designer ([Partner Company]) – Remote (UK-Based)
This fully remote role is part of collaborations with a leading partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll drive the user experience through every step of development, ensuring clarity and elegance for a developer-focused platform.
Key to this role is:
- Leading UX innovation for cutting-edge developer tools, instrumentation, observability, and debugging solutions
- Bridging the gap between product vision, engineering capability, and user-centred design
- Solving complex, technical workflows while maintaining efficiency, accessibility, and scalability
About the Role
You’re not just a designer—you’re a collaborator, researcher, and strategic influencer. This high-ownership position will let you define Usability Hedges to core developer experiences (onboarding, monitoring, troubleshooting, performance) across platforms used by large-scale engineering teams. Whether simulating advanced AI-assisted design workflows or refining technical interfaces, your decisions help solve critical user pain points.

Accountabilities
- End-to-end design leadership: Familiarise from product discovery to production, allowing research, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, and implementation.
- Intuitive design for complex workflows: Translate data-heavy technical concepts into user-once designs across instrumentation, performance investigation, onboard.Text residing और debugging.
- Cross-functional alignment: Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineers to explore thought-area perspective, validate concepts and develop rigorous usable engineering experience.
- AI-augmented ideation: Leverage modern design tools and AI assistants to speed up experiments and iterations within the product.
- User & usability research: Asign feedback collection and use empathy-driven interventions to enhance workforce experiences and build learning path Products.
- Design systems stewardship: Support, improve, and expand reusable libraries, systems libraries, and scalable patterns—guaranteed in UX.

Requirements
- Portfolio Prerequisites: Demonstrated experience designing 4–10 years managing technical platforms, observational solutions, developer tooling, or similarly intricate software applications.
- Specialisation: Proven capability through shipped products showcasing UX sophistication in highly technical, data-rich environments.
- Expertise in:
- Data-driven UX architecture
- Functional interaction design for developers
- User experience testing and elbow-to-elbow prototyping
- System-wide insight pattern applicability including edge design accessibility and adequacy in scale.
- Cross-disciplinary Collaboration: Thrive in dynamic environments, advocate research-based solutions, and contribute to strategy and cultural oneself.
- Detailed & Intuitive: stellar ability to balance surface details with long-term UX scalability, catering to rare complexity proficient users.
- Remote-adjusted skills: seamless asynchronous collaboration, clear communication, and resilient development agility.
Niche skills, though not strictly required:
- AI Adaptability: Familiarity with AI-assisted discovery, prototyping, or UX extraction tools.
- Adaptability Focus: ability to apply expertise across frontend design, information architecture, or cognitive scalability.
