Senior Product Manager – Lab Automation (Life Sciences Focus)

Location: Geneva (CH) | Baden (CH) | Wilmslow (UK)

Shape the future of life science laboratories across Europe

At Waters Corporation, we’re transforming how scientists work — from discovery to delivery. We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager with a strong background in biology, chemistry, or biochemistry to lead the vision and growth of our lab automation portfolio, including the Andrew+ pipetting robot and OneLab software ecosystem.

Responsibilities

You’ll sit at the intersection of science, innovation, and commercial strategy, translating real-world lab challenges into solutions that accelerate research in areas such as LC-MS, genomics, proteomics, and sample preparation.

What you’ll do

Own the product vision & strategy for lab automation solutions Drive the product roadmap, lifecycle, and commercial success across European and global markets Lead new product development from concept through launch Act as the voice of the customer, deeply understanding lab workflows and user needs Shape product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy Partner across R&D, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to deliver impactful solutions Develop sales enablement tools, insights, and competitive differentiation Track performance metrics including adoption, growth, and market impact

Qualifications

What we’re looking for

We’re especially interested in candidates with a scientific background and hands-on lab experience who are ready to step into or grow within product leadership.

You’ll bring:

A degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related life science (strongly preferred over engineering-only backgrounds) Experience in product management, product marketing, or application roles within life sciences, lab automation, or analytical instrumentation Solid understanding of laboratory workflows (e.g., liquid handling, sample prep, LC/LC-MS) Experience contributing to or leading product launches and go-to-market activities Strong collaboration skills in international, cross-functional environments Excellent communication skills — able to engage both scientists and business leaders Requires domestic and international travel of up to 30%
