Sr Program Specialist
SR. PROJECT MANAGER – HONEYWELL (Manchester, UK)
As a Sr. Project Manager here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and executing projects to drive successful outcomes for our clients. Your expertise in project management, leadership, and communication will ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and aligned with business objectives. You will report directly to our Program Manager and be based in our Manchester, UK, office.
You’ll lead high-impact projects that directly support our clients' operations. Your responsibilities will include planning, execution, and closure, while managing resources, risks, and stakeholder communication to achieve project success.
Key Responsibilities
The Service Project Manager within HPS LSS will serve as the primary Honeywell operations contact for LSS customers, as well as internal teams—including Sales, Leadership, and support functions.
- Develop and execute project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
- Support Sales in delivering accurate proposals for mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Mitigate cost overruns and improve project margins using productivity tools and cost-effective resources.
- Lead cross-functional project teams to align projects with business objectives.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks/issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Communicate status updates, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
- Maintain project documentation, including charters, schedules, and reports.
- Build and sustain relationships with:
- Key customer personnel
- Honeywell teams (engineering, sales, supply chain, administration, and leadership)
- Address customer concerns (corrective actions, satisfaction reviews) while properly escalating non-project issues to relevant field service or entities.

The role is measured against the following critical metrics:
- Delivery of Program Entitlements
- Compliance (Policy and Process)
- Data Accuracy
- Customer Satisfaction
- Positive Cash Flow
- Margin Improvement
- Zero Billed and Unbilled AFDA (Accrued Final Delivery Audit)
- PD (Progress Disputes) as per Company Terms
- Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
Requirements
YOU MUST HAVE:
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in project management
- A proven track record of successfully leading and delivering projects
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proficiency in project management tools/software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, etc.)

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Engineering, Project Management)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Experience in the oil and gas or industrial automation industry

- Skills in stakeholder relationship management
