Description

Do you like helping small businesses grow? Do you enjoy working across organizations and scaling programs? The B2B Payments team is revolutionizing how businesses transact on Amazon—providing invoicing, working capital, and payment solutions to Amazon Business customers, sellers, and small businesses worldwide. As part of Amazon's global Consumer Payments organization, we're building payment experiences and financial services that customers trust and value.

The B2B Payments Credit Strategy team is looking for a Senior Risk Manager to lead credit performance strategy for our UK & EU Lending portfolios, a high-impact role where you'll directly influence how we deploy capital to fuel small business growth across Europe.

You'll own the end-to-end risk strategy, driving portfolio growth, solving complex business challenges, and ensuring we meet customer capital needs while maintaining disciplined risk management. Working at the intersection of Science, Product, and Technology, you'll shape credit policies, evolve automated decisioning systems, and build the infrastructure that powers responsible lending at Amazon scale.

The ideal candidate should possess strong program management skills, be highly analytical, resourceful, customer focused and team oriented, with strong communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders. This is an individual contributor role and reports into Head of EU Credit Strategy.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
