Talent Acquisition (TA) Risk & Compliance (TARC) Sr. Risk Managers (Risk III)

Talent Acquisition (TA) Risk & Compliance (TARC) Sr. Risk Managers (Risk III) partner with key members of TA, TA Tech, Legal, Workplace Trust, Public Relations, Employee Relations, and other central compliance or support teams to manage the lifecycle of a complex cross-functional risk program(s). This is a global role, and they provide consultative support to partners to identify opportunities for control improvements with the objective of mitigating risk and improving compliance and operational performance.

Sr. Risk Managers are effective leaders, known for diving deep into various HR, TA, or regulatory/compliance subject matters, taking ownership for unmitigated risks, and encouraging innovative and pragmatic solutions to complex problems. They work with stakeholders to translate ambiguous process, legal, and regulatory obligations into system, operations, or process requirements, monitoring the effectiveness of controls designed to meet obligations on an ongoing basis, and/or developing and leading remediation plans to mitigate risk. They deliver independently with limited guidance, navigating and creating clarity where business problems and solutions are undefined. Projects and programs may be driven by new legal requirements, solution implementations, processes, products, or emerging risk issues.

Key job responsibilities

  • Own complex risk program(s) end-to-end, from ideation through design, build, launch, and deprecation, with negotiated and defined obligations across one or more organizations;
  • Define risk strategy and program objectives where no prior strategy exists, setting direction for compliance frameworks that impact multiple regions and businesses;
  • Recommend risk mitigation opportunities to leadership based on established risk tolerances;
  • Deliver recommendations and/or risk interpretations in a clear, concise, and audience-specific format through excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Partner with Legal, Employee Relations, PXT, Workplace Trust, and other compliance stakeholders to interpret laws, regulations, and directives, translating them into targeted TA guidance;
  • Influence TA Tech roadmaps to embed compliance-by-design into recruiting products and processes, ensuring automated compliance integration;
  • Manage urgent, high-risk scenarios by engaging the right stakeholders and finding paths forward in difficult situations; and
  • Drive process improvement by streamlining, eliminating, or automating excess processes and controls to reduce recruiter administrative burden.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
