Location & Work
- Location: Field-based – Work conducted on-site at customer locations, requiring frequent travel.
Position Overview
The Service Technician delivers exceptional customer service and technical support, ensuring our customers achieve high service standards through efficient maintenance and technical processes. Our goal is to maximise technician productivity, reinforce customer relationships, and drive ongoing operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Customer & Technical Support
- Diagnose HVAC system and equipment issues encountered during installation, service, and maintenance on customer sites.
- Visit customer locations to perform:
- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
- Customer Breakdown Care
- Warranty work
- Hire & Commissioning Tasks
- Build and cultivate strong customer relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Collaborate closely with:
- Service Desk Teams
- Sales
- Operational Teams
- to share customer insights and drive alignment.
- Use advanced diagnostic tools, specifications, blueprints, and engineering manuals to support problem-solving and repairs.
- Generate and submit regular reports on all invoiced work orders.
- Maintain outstanding communication with supervisors, regional service managers, senior teammates, and customers to implement continuous improvements.

Internal Processes
- Ensure adherence to internal compliance and administrative requirements.
- Demonstrate expertise in service technician or field-based roles.
- Apply strong understanding of customer service principles and responsibilities.
- Exhibit leadership in customer experience delivery, fostering a positive environment for team members.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in written reports.
- Maintain strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.

Skills & Qualifications
Technical Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of the manufacturing industry (preferred).
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must hold valid F-Gas certificates.
- Working to date and covering shift work (including weekday, weekends, and bank holidays).
Professional Attributes
- Demonstrates positive, client-focused communication skills.
- Licence to Drive (UK) required – company vehicle provision available.
- Must confirm Right to Work status in the country of application.
