Job Title: SRD System Expert (Blue Yonder / Planogram Generator)

Location: London (Hybrid - 3 Days Onsite per Week)

Contract: 9-Month Initial Contract (Potential Extension)

Start Date: ASAP

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced SRD System Expert with deep expertise in Blue Yonder and Planogram Generator (PG) to join a leading UK retail organisation during a significant business transformation programme.

This is a highly technical role that will play a critical part in maintaining the stability, performance, and operational effectiveness of key merchandising and space planning systems while internal SMEs focus on a major transformation initiative.

You will act as the go-to technical authority across the Space, Range & Display (SRD) technology landscape, ensuring critical systems continue to support operational teams effectively throughout a period of change.

This opportunity is ideally suited to someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, and can quickly add value with minimal onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

Technical System Ownership

  • Act as the subject matter expert for Blue Yonder, Planogram Generator, and associated SRD systems.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance across merchandising and space planning platforms.
  • Ensure system stability, performance, and operational effectiveness.

Troubleshooting & Incident Resolution

  • Investigate and resolve complex platform, build, capacity, and system performance issues.
  • Diagnose technical defects and identify root causes within the Blue Yonder environment.
  • Manage and prioritise system action logs and support queues.
  • Deliver timely solutions to minimise operational disruption.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
