Permanent

Location: Kings Cross, London

Hours: Full time, 42 Hours per week, 4 on 4 off, 07:00-19:00 and 19:00-07:00

Pay: £23.37

Join Our Team as a SSC Supervisor

The Security Service Centre (SSC) Supervisor is responsible for the leadership, training, and performance management of dedicated staff, while overseeing the critical functions of monitoring, dispatching, and meticulously documenting security alarms. The successful candidate must be a proactive problem-solver with strong critical thinking skills and an acute attention to detail. This position ensures the professional and timely communication of all incident information to leadership, adhering to established best practices.

About The Role

As a SSC Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

SSC Operations and Incident Management

  • Assist in and coordinate the daily activities of the Security Service Centre (SSC) operations.
  • Ensure efficient and compliant delivery of all tasks within the SSC and support the wider security team.
  • Conduct continuous monitoring of all CCTV operations within the SSC.
  • Serve as the primary on-site responder for security incidents, ensuring appropriate escalation to the correct channels.
  • Provide timely and accurate reports and information to management and the wider security team upon request.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Supervise team members' duties and performance, providing necessary feedback, and reporting team strengths and weaknesses to management.
  • Motivate, guide, and mentor team members to achieve and exceed operational goals, fostering a positive work environment during shifts.
  • Develop and deliver training to new team members on company standards, customer service, and specific job duties.

  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with site/department procedures and provided training.

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven experience working in a control room environment.
  • Prior experience in a supervisory role within a similar high-profile setting.
  • Demonstrable supervisory/leadership skills, including the ability to influence, motivate, and liaise with others.
  • Proficiency in incident management.
  • Availability to work both day and night shifts.
  • SIA front line Licence
  • CCTV Licence
