An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Specialist Registrar (ST5) in Old Age Psychiatry to join the Older Adult Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) based at Hartley Hospital on a long-term bank assignment.
This role offers stability, continuity of care, and the opportunity to work within a highly regarded multidisciplinary team supporting older adults across the community.

Role Overview
The successful candidate will:
- Provide psychiatric assessment and management for older adult patients within CMHT services.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team working and care planning.
- Support the delivery of high-quality community-based mental health services.
- Contribute to risk assessment, treatment planning, and patient reviews.
- Work collaboratively with consultants, nursing teams, psychologists, social workers, and community partners.
Essential Requirements
- ✅ GMC Registration with licence to practise
- ✅ Eligible to work at ST5 level or equivalent
- ✅ Experience within Old Age Psychiatry
- ✅ Valid Section 12 Approval (essential)
- ✅ Breakaway Training
- ✅ Experience using or willingness to work with: Rio and EPMA
- ✅ Right to work in the UK
Desirable
- ⭐ MRCPsych
- ⭐ Previous Community Mental Health Team experience
- ⭐ NHS experience within Older Adult Services
