Special Needs Teaching Assistants - South East London

We are currently recruiting passionate and dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistants to work across schools in South East London from September 2026.
Whether you're looking for short-term supply work, long-term placements, or a permanent position, we have opportunities to suit your availability and career goals.
The Role
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with a range of additional needs, including:
- Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
- ADHD
- Speech and Language Difficulties
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
- Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties
- Complex Needs

You may work on a 1:1 basis, support small groups, or assist within specialist SEND provisions and mainstream classrooms.
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with children or young people with SEND (school-based experience preferred)
- A caring, patient and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
- Relevant qualifications or training are desirable but not essential
