Important Notes/Banking Eligibility
- This vacancy is strictly for existing NHS Ayrshire & Arran employees only.
- You will not be considered if you do not currently hold a substantive nursing post with NHS Ayrshire & Arran.
- Role-specific eligibility: You must only be in a Nursing Assistant/Healthcare Support Worker (HCSW) role within NHS Ayrshire & Arran to apply.
- Band allocation: Appointments will be made on the bank at your current substantive band level (2, 3, or 4).

- Currently employed by NHS Ayrshire & Arran as an unregistered Nursing Assistant or HCSW.
- Maintaining a substantive post (current job) within Ayrshire & Arran.
- Application validity checks will confirm current employment status before shortlisting.

Have your National Insurance number ready—it will be required to confirm active NHS Ayrshire & Arran employment.

- One mandatory reference required:
- From your current line manager.
- Must be from your substantive role at NHS Ayrshire & Arran.
