Staff Bank Retire / Terminate & Return (INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY) - UNREGISTERED

NHS Ayrshire & Arran: Nursing Assistant and Healthcare Support Worker Vacancy (Unregistered Nursing Staff Only)

For internal candidates only — you will not be considered if:

  • You do not have a current substantive nursing post with NHS Ayrshire & Arran, or
  • You are leaving entirely or retiring without securing a position within the next month, or
  • Your termination date was over a month ago

Key Application Requirements

  • Only applicable to current NHS Ayrshire & Arran employees (unregistered nursing staff)
  • Must apply between 1 and 3 months prior to termination/retirement (before/after which applications are invalid)
  • Do not use your NHS Ayrshire & Arran email to apply.
  • Have a National Insurance number ready for employment verification.
  • Only Band 2 or Band 3 applicants will be considered. Ensure this is confirmed with your current role—higher-band former staff will not be regraded.
