Role: Staff Engineer - Ruby (Remote)
Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere)
Job Type: Contract
Payout: $30 - $90/hour
Role Overview:
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Staff Ruby Engineer to work on a contract basis. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable Ruby-based systems. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Ruby on Rails applications and microservices.
- Optimize application performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define technical requirements.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested Ruby code.
- Debug and resolve complex technical issues in production systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON-based services.
- Strong knowledge of database design and SQL optimization.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks like RSpec or Minitest.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or similar.
