🚀 Staff Machine Learning Engineer, Remote (UK) | Full-Time | AI Start-Up

What You'll Be Doing
- ✅ Build and scale production-grade machine learning systems
- ✅ Design and optimise training, evaluation, and deployment pipelines
- ✅ Fine-tune & adapt LLMs using techniques such as LoRA, QLoRA, SFT, DPO, & Distillation
- ✅ Improve model performance, reliability, latency, and cost efficiency
- ✅ Create robust evaluation frameworks covering quality, safety, and reliability
- ✅ Partner with Product, Research, & Engineering teams to bring AI capabilities into real-world applications
- ✅ Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and influence architectural decisions

What We're Looking For
- 🎯 Strong Python expertise
- 🎯 Deep experience building and deploying ML systems at scale
- 🎯 Hands-on experience with large language models and modern AI infrastructure
- 🎯 Strong understanding of training, inference, optimisation, and evaluation frameworks
- 🎯 Proven ability to deliver production-ready machine learning solutions
- 🎯 Experience leading projects and influencing technical direction
