Staff Nurse

Experienced Nurse—Bere Clinic, CAMHS Team (12-Bed)

You must have completed your Preceptorship (with evidence) to be considered for this post.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a qualified Nurse in our 12-bed CAMHS service, your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering high-quality, compassionate, and effective nursing care to young people aged 12–18 with eating disorders.
  • Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care plans for service users.
  • Providing mentorship and support to colleagues, fostering positive teamwork.
  • Observing, recording, and reporting all changes in service users’ conditions, while maintaining accurate care records.
  • Working in a dynamic environment with a mix of routine and variety to keep you engaged and motivated.

Skills & Qualifications

We’re looking for candidates with the following:

✔ A relevant nursing qualification (RMN, RNLD, or RGN). ✔ NMC registration. ✔ Strong teamwork skills and effective collaboration abilities. ✔ Self-motivation, flexibility, and an ability to adapt. ✔ A positive, caring, and compassionate attitude. ✔ A commitment to high-quality care, within an evidence-based practice framework.

Remark: You must have completed your preceptorship with evidence to apply.


Where You’ll Work

Location: Bere Clinic, Hemlock Road, Waterlooville, PO8 8QT

This role will involve working within a 12-bedded CAMHS unit, supporting young people aged 12–18 with eating disorders. The service includes:

  • An onsite school for education while young people are in care.
  • A fully integrated multidisciplinary team, providing exceptional mental health support.
  • The chance to be part of a dynamic, evolving service and help shape its future.
