Staff Nurse
Registered Nurse – Dementia & Elderly Care (General & Specialist Nursing)
Located in Chickerell, Weymouth, this excellent nursing home – rated Good by CQC – has a fantastic opportunity for a committed Registered Nurse.
As one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers, they specialise in:
- General and dementia nursing
- Residential and respite care for the elderly
About the Role
You will be joining a team where patient-centred care is paramount. This is a permanent position offering both day and night shifts.
Key Duties
As a Registered Nurse, your duties will include:
- Accurately assessing residents' needs and prioritising care
- Administering medication and treatments in line with NMC guidelines and company policies
- Updating and maintaining care plans with residents, relatives and healthcare professionals
- Monitoring health, reporting ill health and arranging GP or professional visits where required

Requirements
The position requires:
- A qualification as a Registered Nurse with an active NMC Pin
- Proven experience in a care setting (preferred)
Desired Skills
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Empathy, understanding and experience with elders’ care
- Strong time management and leadership skills
- A can-do attitude and ability to work collaboratively
- Excellent teamwork abilities
