Registered Nurse - Gynaecology Outpatient Clinic

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our Gynaecology Outpatient Clinic team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centred care across sites including the Birmingham Treatment Centre and Sandwell General Hospital, working closely with consultants, multidisciplinary teams, patients, and their families.

This role offers the opportunity to develop clinical skills within a dynamic outpatient environment while contributing to the delivery of safe, effective, and compassionate care. The role will require you to:

  • Support consultant-led clinics
  • Undertake patient assessments
  • Assist with procedures
  • Coordinate patient care pathways

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, effective, and evidence-based nursing care.
  • Support consultant and nurse-led outpatient clinics.
  • Undertake patient assessments, observations, and clinical documentation.
  • Assist with minor procedures, wound care, dressings, venepuncture, and cannulation where appropriate.
  • Provide health education and advice to patients and carers.
  • Ensure accurate record keeping and compliance with professional standards.
  • Maintain patient dignity, privacy, and confidentiality at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure a positive patient experience.
  • Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing professional development.
