Responsibilities

As a Staff Nurse, you will:

  • Lead the team and conduct continuous assessments, planning, and evaluation of residents’ needs and wishes.
  • Provide excellent nursing care and support to residents.
  • Oversee medicine management, ensuring safe medication administration in line with NMC Standards.
  • Create and implement treatment plans.
  • Offer a safe, caring, and stable environment for the people we support.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and best practice guidelines.
  • Support the Service Manager by:
    • Promoting and upholding high standards of nursing care.
    • Ensuring smooth staff supervision and shift management.
  • Mentor, guide, and teach team members.
  • Collaborate with the Manager to maintain the smooth operation of the home.

Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Hold a current NMC registration.
  • Have a relevant Nursing qualification.
  • Demonstrate a compassionate, caring attitude.
  • Possess adequate knowledge, experience, and an understanding of:
    • Professional nursing boundaries.
