Staff Nurse

Fixed-Term Secondment Opportunity: Community Hospital Nurse – 12 Month Secondment Until 31.07.27

Important Note: Only apply if you have obtained permission from your current line manager.

About the Role

Mold Hospital, a busy community hospital at the heart of the local North Wales community, provides high-standard care to patients and their families while maintaining a strong focus on early discharge planning.

We champion the "home first" approach, ensuring patients access care closer to home—from admission onwards. Our multidisciplinary team fosters excellent collaborative relationships to implement "discharge to access" principles, supported by our Community Resource Team. Our wards—each accommodating 20 patients—promptly discharged patients enabling higher capacity for other residents.

We pride ourselves on nurturing staff development, offering:

  • 6-month preceptorship for newly qualified nurses
  • Career progression support
  • Enriched personal and professional development

Key Responsibilities

The role holder is responsible for:

  • Planning, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based nursing care for patients and their families in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
  • Managing and organising clinical areas effectively, including assisting with the education, development, and supervision of other healthcare professionals
  • Working alongside nursing staff, healthcare support workers (HCSW), domestics, and administrative teams to deliver outstanding patient-centered care

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
