Are you a caring and compassionate Registered Nurse looking to work in an outstanding rated Trust?
Shaston ward, based at Westminster Memorial Hospital, Shaftesbury, are looking for either an experienced or newly qualified Staff Nurse to join our supportive team.
About the Role
As a Staff Nurse, you will be working alongside a multi-disciplinary team in a 15 bedded ward who provide sub-acute medical care, rehabilitation, Palliative / End of Life care for the local and wider community. Our Elderly Rehabilitation and End of Life Care unit achieved a nationally recognised accreditation in the Gold Standard Framework award for end-of-life care. Our team are a close-knit community, and we pride ourselves on always going the extra mile.
Responsibilities
- Work in a 15 bedded ward providing sub-acute medical care, rehabilitation, and Palliative / End of Life care.
- Achieve a nationally recognised accreditation in the Gold Standard Framework award for end-of-life care.
- Work within a close-knit community, going the extra mile for patients.
Requirements
- Enthusiasm and a commitment to providing the highest standards of care to patients, relatives, and carers.
- Ability to provide professional clinical leadership.
- Interest in working with older people.
- Good communication and organizational skills.

Additional Information
- Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of.
- Part-time role for 15 hours per week.
- Variety of flexible shifts available.
- No visa sponsorship available. Valid right to work in the UK required.

Westminster Memorial Hospital is a 15 bedded inpatient rehab unit for both men and women.
This post is a part-time post and is a rotational post for both days and nights.
