Job Opportunity: Staff Nurse in Haematology/Oncology Day Unit

This busy purpose-built Haematology/Oncology Day Unit is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated, and compassionate individual with good organisational and communication skills, to compliment the existing team.

About the Unit

  • Comprised of 14 chair treatment area, procedure room, alternative therapy suite, and many clinic rooms
  • Very busy, seeing approximately 250 patients per week
  • Activities include the administration of chemotherapy, supportive care, and occasional blood transfusion
  • Training would be provided for chemotherapy administration

Requirements

  • Not open to Newly Qualified Staff Nurses
  • NMC Registration required

Job Details

  • Base Location: Royal Bournemouth Hospital
  • Interview date: Tuesday, 28th July 2026
  • Hours: Full time post of 37.5 hrs per week
  • Shifts: 8-6pm Monday - Friday including bank holidays
